Diamondbacks Outfielder Returns to Active Roster

After a short stint on the injured list (IL), Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ketel Marte has been reinstated to the active roster. Marte had been sidelined with a right ankle sprain since May 25.

Prior to his injury, Marte was having a strong season for the Diamondbacks. In 53 games, he was batting .310 with six home runs, 26 RBIs, and 11 stolen bases.

Injury Recovery

Marte began his rehab assignment with the Triple-A Reno Aces on June 20 and played four games, going 3-for-11 with one RBI.
