Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Green Day have announced the addition of a Detroit tour date to their highly anticipated Hella Mega Tour. The iconic punk trio will take the stage at Comerica Park on August 10th, 2023, marking their first Detroit performance since 2017.

After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong and fellow band members Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool are eager to reconnect with their fans. Green Day's electrifying live shows are renowned for their energetic performances, infectious melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics.

The Hella Mega Tour has already garnered critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone hailing it as "a victory lap for three of the biggest bands in punk rock history." The tour will feature support from Fall Out Boy, Weezer, and The Interrupters.
