Marc Márquez: “Aragon is a circuit I like but the carcass of the tire is changing again”

The Motorcycling World Championship returns to Europe next weekend with the celebration of the Gran Premio de Aragón, an appointment that will serve to define a good part of the 2022 season.

However, the eight-time world champion has warned that he will have to adapt quickly to the new asphalt and to the changes introduced in the tires, since the Michelin will have a carcass with a new composition.

It will be necessary to adapt quickly to the new asphalt and also to the tires, which will be different from the previous ones, so it will be a challenge, but it is a challenge that we are looking forward to.
Regarding the changes in the asphalt, the rider from Cervera added: The asphalt conditions have improved a lot. This is something that we had already seen in the test that we did a few months ago, and in fact, they are at the level of the best circuits on the calendar. So, in this aspect, it is a positive thing and it will help us to enjoy ourselves a little bit more on a track that is already very enjoyable.
Finally, Marc Márquez spoke about the importance of the Aragon Grand Prix in the fight for the title: We are in a very important part of the championship, there are still several races left, but it is true that from now on, every race is going to be more important, and especially this one, which is a track where we have always been strong.
