A terrific first-half finish from Niclas Füllkrug settled an entertaining encounter at Signal Iduna Park as Borussia Dortmund clinched top spot in Champions League Group G with a 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

The hosts made a bright start and deservedly took the lead in the 27th minute when Füllkrug latched onto Julian Brandt's through ball and fired a low shot past Gianluigi Donnarumma from 12 yards.

PSG, who had won their previous three games in the group, struggled to create clear-cut chances and rarely troubled Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.

The visitors' best opportunity came in the second half when Kylian Mbappé found himself through on goal, but the Frenchman's effort was well saved by Kobel.

Prediction

Dortmund's victory means they finish top of the group with 15 points, while PSG finish second with 14 points.

In the knockout stages, Dortmund will face the runner-up from another group, while PSG will face the winner of another group.
